Introduction
Beginning in July 2024, as work on the site began, it was
receiving zero organic traffic from any source. The goal of the project was to
create wide reaching visibility and build organic traffic, enhancing site
authority in the target niche.
The result of a year’s worth of careful link building has
shown a massive increase in organic traffic, rising from zero 140K, with the
majority from the United States.
Strategy
In a competitive market, establishing strong links with quality sites is essential, and this formed the core of the strategy, which was implemented as follows:
- Establishing a solid base of backlinks through quality content, focused mostly on the 50-70 DR score sites.
- Building out the link strategy included both low DR and 70+ Dr sites to give as broad a variance as possible, presenting organic growth over time.
Results
Link building is, by its nature, a delayed action strategy. Links take time to generate results, and so the initial work began in July 2024, with the first tangible results being seen towards the end of October and through November 2024.
Growth continued from there, building steadily through to June 2025, where we can see impressive gains.
- Organic traffic rose from 0 to 140k in 11 months.
- With 390 referral domains, the site has massively extended its reach.
- Keyword hits rose from 0 to 23.3K between July 2024 and May 2025.
Using a mix of content, we see steady increases from October 2024 onwards, the sign of a successful strategy that builds on itself. Those 390 referral domains, up from zero at the start of the campaign, provide the site with additional authority and help long term sustainability for traffic generation.
Conclusion
With 4extensive competition, making an impact here was a challenging process. By focusing on high DR sites using quality content, we were able to craft a network of backlinks that generated 140K of organic traffic from nothing.
